MP Hygiene Boosts Collaboration and Productivity with SNS and Infor

RUEIL-MALMAISON, France – April 5, 2023 – SNS, a leading provider of supply chain consultancy and software implementation, today announced that MP Hygiene, the largest French producer of pure wadding paper bearing the Origine France Garantie® label, has deployed the latest version of Infor WMS. With integration at the core of the project, the solution will facilitate greater collaboration, and boost efficiency, productivity and fulfilment for the France-based paper, hand hygiene and soap leader.

MP hygiene is the largest French manufacturer of pure cotton wiping paper with the Origine France Garantie® label, as well as nonwoven wipes, soaps and solutions for hand hygiene in the workplace (24,000 litres of soap and 100,000 litres of hydroalcoholic gel manufactured per day and 40,000 tonnes of paper wipes per year). MP hygiène thus offers a range of environmentally friendly products that it exports to 76 countries on six continents. For this purpose, the company has five warehouses (including four production sites and one operating site with a total surface area of 65,700 square metres).

Supporting multiple warehouses, the upgrade from MP Hygiene’s existing Infor WMS platform was needed to ensure the latest capabilities and functionality, as well as ensuring integration with core systems including Sage X3, production, and carrier systems. Crucially MP Hygiene needed the system to facilitate KPIs around user productivity and operations efficiency in order to establish benchmarks from which to improve performance.

Now live, MP Hygiene is benefitting from a custom picking process which delivers automatic selection of orders for picks less than a pallet, as well as multi-lot fulfilment for the quantity being picked. Infor WMS allows multiple IDs to be picked once activated, as well as SSCC label printing, with customization to allow the staging and loading of multiple pallets in just one transaction. Production module enhancements support the different manufacturing processes associated with both MP Hygiene’s soap and paper products.
